Miguel Bonal

Born in Zaragoza, he began his musical studies with the piano at an early age, and later, at the age of 7, he joined the Professional Conservatory of Music of Zaragoza to begin his studies of viola da gamba with Fernando Marín.
At present, he is carrying out his higher studies of viola da gamba and baroque cello with Emmanuel Balssa, at the Escola Superior De Música de Catalunya (ESMUC), in Barcelona.
He has also attended numerous specialization courses, such as the Musica Antica course in Romano Canavese (Italy) with Noelia Reverte, the Early Music Days, in Amsterdam (Holland) with Wieland Kuijken and the Early Music Summer School in Prachatice (Czech Republic), with Alan Davis and Edita Keglerová.
Among his concerts in Spain, it is worth highlighting his participation in the XX Festival of Ancient Music of Tiana, in the Sant Jordi Hall of the Palace of the Generalitat, in the Parliament of Catalonia and in the Espurnes Barroques Festival. In his hometown he played in the distribution of the Peón Awards, in 2014. He received a scholarship for the "Young Ancient Music" course held in Guadalaviar (Teruel) and for the 9th Académie Européene de Musique Ancienne, which took place in Vannes, France, in 2019.
